Content
This Library contains the short presentations (or "nuggets") which form the core of our e learning materials. Each nugget is limited to a maximum of 10 minutes duration, to enable you to fit the training into your daily schedule with minimum disruption. The short duration also has the advantage of ensuring each nugget is succinct and focusses on the key issues relating to the topic in question.
Each nugget comes with printable attachments so that, while watching, and listening to, the nugget, participants can follow the text and cross refer, as appropriate, to the text of specimen wording for the clause or topic under discussion. This also enables participants to study the nugget off line if they prefer. At the end of each nugget is a quiz to enable participants to test their understanding.
Each nugget is written by one of our expert tutors, giving users the benefit of the insights and years of practical expertience which all our tutors have, while also allowing users to decide which topics to study, and when.
This library enables users to browse the nuggets at will, without any specified schedule as to which topics need to be studied, when.
Target Audience
The course library format is particularly useful for those who
- do not have time to commit to a study course or
- do not need to cover all the topics covered in a study course, but prefer to pick out topics of particular interest, and
- have the motivation to undertake the study without the need for a structured schedule
Advantages
During the pilot phase participants particularly appreciated the fact that this online format enabled them
- to schedule the training in short sessions which could easily be fitted into their daily routine and
- to repeat difficult sections as necessary.
